342 Tesla electric cars sold in India in FY26: Report

Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla, which opened its maiden showroom in India in July, sold 342 units in the country in FY26, according to data from Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA). The company only sells the Model Y electric SUV in India at present in two variants. Tata Motors sold over 78,000 EVs, while Mahindra & Mahindra retailed 42,271 units.
