35 stalls sealed during anti-encroachment drive in Pune

At least 35 stalls were sealed during an anti-encroachment drive carried out by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Friday. "This drive has come about because of complaints and demands from people for new licenses," said PMC's Anti-encroachment Department Head. He added that about 60% of the license holders had rented out their stalls, making running these stalls illegal.
