36-yr-old murder case of Kashmiri Pandit nurse solved, 3 of 4 suspects dead

The J&K State Investigation Agency (SIA) solved the April 1990 murder case of a 27-year-old Kashmiri Pandit nurse Sarla Bhat and identified four suspects. Three of them have died, while one is believed to be absconding in Pakistan. The killing, which marked a turning point in the exodus, was allegedly carried out at the behest of JKLF chief Yasin Malik.
