37-yr-old TMC MLA Satyajit shot dead while walking off stage in WB

Trinamool Congress' 37-year-old MLA Satyajit Biswas was shot dead by unidentified assailants while walking down from a stage in West Bengal's Phulbari on Saturday. An MLA from Krishnaganj, Biswas was attending a Saraswati Puja function. Blaming the BJP for the murder, TMC MLA Gouri Sankar Dutta said, "BJP was not able to attract Matua voters because of him."
