3D ocean map created to help with marine conservation

Scientists have created a detailed 3D map of oceans which could help conservationists and government officials in making decisions related to marine conservation. The global ocean map sorts water masses around the world into 37 categories of different temperatures, salinity, oxygen and nutrient levels and includes the waters between the surface and the ocean floor.
