3-month suspension of licence for riding 2-wheeler without helmet in K'taka

Riding a two-wheeler without a helmet can now lead to a three-month suspension of driving licence in Karnataka. "Helmets are mandatory for all two-wheeler riders over four years of age," Karnataka's Transport Department said in its order. "The state government has imposed a 3-month suspension of driving licence along with a penalty in case of violation," it added.
