3rd phase of J&K DDC polls witnesses 50.53% voter turnout

The third phase of District Development Council (DDC) polls in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday witnessed a 50.53% voter turnout, State Election Commissioner KK Sharma said. "Polling has been by-and-large peaceful in...33 constituencies of DDC including 16 in Kashmir division and 17 in Jammu," he said. In Jammu division, Reasi district recorded the highest percentage of voter turnout at 75.20%.
