Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane smashed huge tons on the third day to lead India’s fightback into the third Test against Australia in Melbourne on Sunday. Kohli (169) and Rahane (147) shared a record 262-run fourth-wicket stand. At stumps, India were 462/8 in their first innings, still 68 runs adrift of Australia’s total of 530.
