3-yr-old girl kidnapped, raped in Navi Mumbai; ragpicker arrested

The Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested a 30-year-old ragpicker, Mukesh Kumar, for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl at the Panvel railway station in Navi Mumbai. According to reports, the accused kidnapped the child when her mother went to use the restroom at around 3 am on Thursday. Upon searching, the police found the minor lying unconscious on a bench.
