4% of global oil supply at risk as Saudi Arabia's key pipeline remains shut after attacks
About 4% of global oil supply, or around 4 million barrels per day, is at risk after drone attacks from Iraq prompted Saudi Arabia to shut its key East-West oil pipeline, Reuters reported. With the pipeline offline, export stocks at Red Sea port of Yanbu will last 5-7 days. The pipeline had served as an alternative to Strait of Hormuz.
