4,000-year-old Egyptian princesses practised hunting & archery: Study

A study published in Frontiers in Environmental Archaeology said ancient Egyptian princesses who lived about 4,000 years ago used weapons such as bows, daggers and maces found buried with them. Researchers studying five royal women's skeletal remains found their bones had developed to support heavy muscle use. The findings suggest that the princesses practiced archery and elite hunting.
