4,000-year-old town discovered hidden in Arabian oasis
A 4,000-year-old fortified town has been discovered in an oasis in Saudi Arabia, archaeologists said. The remains of the town, called Al-Natah, were concealed by the walled oasis of Khaybar. The town, which was home to up to 500 residents, was built around 2,400 BC during the early Bronze Age but was abandoned a thousand years later, the researchers said.
