4-day heatwave alert issued for 11 districts in Madhya Pradesh

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a four-day heatwave alert for 11 districts in Madhya Pradesh. The districts include Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Dhar, Dewas, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Jhabua, Alirajpur and Shajapur. Maximum temperatures in these areas are expected to remain between 43 and 46°C. Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions are also likely to experience intense heat.
