4 European nations back India’s bid for permanent UNSC seat, call it ‘upcoming superpower’

India's bid for a permanent UN Security Council seat has received backing from the Visegrad Four, comprising Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Czechia. Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár called India an "upcoming superpower" and said it "must be at the table" as a permanent member. The support came during the first V4-India foreign ministers’ meeting on UNGA sidelines in New York.
