4 Italian soldiers hurt in NATO friendly-fire incident in Latvia

Four Italian soldiers were wounded when a fellow troop accidentally fired a 7.62mm machine gun from a Dardo vehicle onto another during a NATO live-fire drill at Latvia's Adazi training area. All four, from Italy's 11th Bersaglieri Regiment, were hospitalised in Riga. One sustained serious but stable injuries. Military investigators are probing the incident.
