4 killed as US surveillance plane crashes in southern Philippines

A US military-contracted surveillance plane crashed in a rice field in the southern Philippines on Thursday. All four people onboard, which include one US service member and three defence contractors, were killed in the crash. The aircraft, which was contracted by the US military, had been carrying out intelligence and surveillance support at the request of the Philippines.
