4 Pak soldiers killed during raid on Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan

Four Pakistani soldiers were killed during shootings triggered by a raid on a hideout of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the North Waziristan district. However, the TTP claimed seven soldiers were killed during the fighting. Separately, two militants, who were involved in targeted killings and kidnapping for ransom, were killed in a raid in Tank district, an official statement said.
