Four police officers were shot dead and four others were injured while serving a warrant on Monday in US' Charlotte. The incident took place when police officers were attempting to serve a warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, who opened fire at them with a "high-powered rifle". Officers returned gunfire and struck the suspect, killing him.
