40,000 Palestinians flee Jenin after Israeli tanks enter West Bank

Over 40,000 Palestinians have fled Jenin and the nearby city of Tulkarm in northern West Bank since Israel began its operation against militancy in January, after reaching ceasefire agreement in Gaza after 15 months of war. Israeli tanks entered occupied West Bank for the first time since 2002 and are expected to stay there for the coming year.
