40,000 told to evacuate over fear of chemical tank explosion in US

Around 40,000 residents in US' California are under evacuation orders after a huge chemical tank began to leak and is feared to explode. Authorities spent two days trying to prevent the tank full of methyl methacrylate (MMA) from exploding after it began to overheat. MMA, which is used to manufacture plastics, can cause severe respiratory issues in humans on exposure.
