40 passengers on Chennai-Pune Bharat Gaurav train fall sick due to food poisoning

At least 40 passengers aboard a Chennai-Pune Bharat Gaurav train complained of stomach infections and other complications, possibly due to food poisoning, late on Tuesday. The passengers were taken off the train onto the platform at the railway station in Pune and given treatment, a railway official said. Subsequently, the passengers were admitted to Sassoon General Hospital for further treatment.
