400 students who cheated in exams to be counselled as Guj university ditches punishment

Surat's VNSG University decided to present 400-odd students caught cheating in exams before a five-member committee to understand why they cheated and then send them for counselling. Students used methods like sneaking in chits and even phones to use ChatGPT. Over 600 students were caught last year, but that number has now reduced to 400, said exam controller AV Dhaduk.
