40,300 cyberattacks in the last 4-5 days from China: Maharashtra Cyber Dept

The resources on India's cyberspace related to infrastructure and banking have been under attack from China, Maharashtra Cyber Department's Special IG Y Yadav said. At least 40,300 cyber attacks were attempted in the last 4-5 days and most of them were traced to China's Chengdu area, he added. Cybersecurity agency CERT-In had warned of 'large-scale' phishing attack from June 21.
