40th edition of govt of India's 'Hunar Haat' festival begins in Mumbai
The 40th edition of the Centre's 'Hunar Haat' festival was inaugurated by Union Minister Anurag Thakur in Mumbai on Sunday. The festival, which will conclude on April 27, is aimed at promoting ancestral crafts from remote areas of India. According to the officials, the event has provided employment opportunities to over 9 lakh artisans in a span of 6 years.
