A 41-year-old man from Karnataka's Uttara Kannada district reportedly passed away while undergoing treatment for swine flu (H1N1) at a private hospital in Mangaluru. The man was admitted to hospital after he complained of a fever on June 10 and difficulty in breathing. Health authorities have initiated surveillance among his close family members and contacts to identify potential infections.
