41-year-old Pepe becomes the oldest footballer to feature in Euros

Portugal defender Pepe became oldest footballer to feature in Euros after representing Portugal in Euro 2024 match against Czechia aged 41 years and 113 days. Pepe surpassed ex-Hungary goalkeeper Gábor Király, who was aged 40 years and 86 days while facing Belgium in Euro 2016's round of 16. Cristiano Ronaldo became the first to feature in six editions of Euros.
