42 grooms cheated in MP mass wedding fraud, couple arrested

Madhya Pradesh police have arrested a couple accused of allegedly cheating at least 42 grooms and their families through a fake mass wedding scam in Dewas. The accused promised brides from an orphanage in Indore, used photos downloaded from social media, and charged victims ₹10,000-₹ 25,000. The fraud was exposed after no brides or organisers arrived at the venue.
