42 people hold same wealth as 3.7 billion poorest: Report

The world's richest 42 people hold as much wealth as 3.7 billion of the poorest half of the world, a report by charity group Oxfam has revealed. Oxfam said 82% of wealth generated in 2017 went to the richest 1%, while the poorest half got nothing. It added that a new billionaire emerged every two days in the past year.
