42-year-old woman out on morning walk hit by speeding car in Thane

A woman out for a morning walk was hit by a speeding car in Thane on Monday. Neelam Patwardhan (42) suffered multiple fractures in her leg and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. The accident took place at Yeoor hills gate. The incident occurred two weeks after a tech CEO was killed in a similar accident in Mumbai.
