450-metre-long German bridge demolished using 150 kg explosives

A more than 450-metre-long motorway bridge in western Germany was successfully demolished after a 17-month closure for safety reasons. The Rahmede Valley Bridge was built between 1965 and 1968. It was demolished using approximately 150 kilograms of explosives. According to reports, a new bridge will be built.
