47% of young people trust AI over humans to check facts: Study

A Public First survey of 4,000+ young people in England found 47% trust AI over humans to check facts, while 87% have used AI and 63% use it for homework. Yet only 9% believe education prepares them well for an AI-driven future. The findings highlight growing AI adoption, digital inequality and an urgent need for stronger AI literacy.
