47 out of 55 people rescued: Chamoli DM on U'khand avalanche

District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari stated that 47 of the 55 workers who got trapped in an avalanche in Mana village of Uttarakhand's Chamoli district have been rescued. "Four choppers of the Indian Army are being used in the rescue operations," he added. The Indian Army, NDRF and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police are spearheading a joint operation to save the workers.
