47-year-old woman recovers from pulmonary TB and kidney injury
A 47-year-old woman with pulmonary tuberculosis and acute kidney injury was successfully treated by a multidisciplinary team. She had persistent cough, breathlessness, fever, weakness and appetite loss. After bronchoscopy, biopsy and Gene-Xpert testing confirmed TB, Anti-Koch's Therapy was started. With careful kidney management and close monitoring.
