48 lakh weddings within 35 days in India to generate ₹6 lakh crore business

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) projects there will be 48 lakh weddings across the country during the wedding season from November 12 to December 16. According to CAIT, these weddings are expected to generate ₹6 lakh crore in business. Approximately 4.5 lakh weddings are anticipated in Delhi alone, contributing ₹1.5 lakh crore to the local economy.
