487 Indians in US with 'final removal orders': Govt on deportations

India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Friday said, "We have been told that there are up to 487 'presumed' Indian citizens with 'final removal orders' with the US authorities." These individuals are reportedly facing possible deportation from the US. "We sought details from the US on these individuals and details have been provided about 298 individuals," Misri added.
