49 arrested over violence during pro-Gaza protests in Bangladesh

At least 49 individuals were arrested over violent and unlawful events during pro-Gaza protests at several places in Bangladesh on Monday. "These attacks and acts of vandalism are an affront to public safety and the rule of law," Chief Adviser's office said. Further investigations are underway and additional cases are being filed against those responsible for the act, it added.
