49 plots, 2.5 kg silver found in raids from engineer who started off with ₹7,100 salary
A raid by the vigilance department in Odisha at properties linked to government engineer Satyanarayan Sethy unearthed assets, including 49 high-value plots, three farmhouses, 940 grams of gold jewellery, 2.5 kg of silver and cash. Sethy had joined as an engineer in 1998 with an initial salary of ₹7,100/month. Two flats, including one benami, were also traced to him.
