49 soap boxes of heroin worth ₹6 crore seized in Assam

A Special Task Force (STF) seized 49 soap boxes of heroin worth ₹6 crore in Assam's Kamrup district. "The narcotic substance was transported in a truck from Kangpokpi district of the neighbouring state. Based on the input, the receiver was intercepted in an SUV," a police official said. The police also seized both the vehicles and arrested two persons.
