4-yr-old picks gun kept under mattress by father, shoots pregnant mom

An eight-month pregnant mother was shot in the face by her four-year-old son in the US state of Washington. The child found the loaded unsecured gun under a mattress after his father hid it there because he was afraid of a recent crime in the neighbourhood. She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, however her condition has improved.
