5,000 Pakistanis deported from several countries for begging since 2024

Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has informed that over 5,000 Pakistani citizens have been deported from several countries since 2024 for begging. The countries include Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Malaysia and Iraq. Earlier, Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif had claimed that Pakistanis begging in other countries had made it difficult for "genuine businesspeople" to get visas.
