5,000 personnel managed 30,000 protesters on July 20, no excessive force used: Delhi Police to SC

Delhi Police told the Supreme Court it did not use excessive force against student protesters during the July 20 Parliament march, which it said had no permission. It said over 30,000 protesters faced around 5,000 police personnel, with more than 240 officers and around 200 protesters injured. Police said force was used after barricades were breached and violence began.
