5 Army personnel swept away in flash floods during tank exercise in Ladakh

Five Army personnel were swept away in the flash floods near Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, officials said. The incident occurred at around 1 am in the Daulat Beg Oldie region when their tank sank during a river crossing exercise, officials added. A rescue operation has been launched.
