Five illegal shops razed in Shimla's anti-drug drive

The PWD demolished five illegal shops and seized a store on government land near Lambakhatal along the Chidgaon-Rohru road on Tuesday, as part of Shimla's ongoing anti-chitta campaign. The structures were linked to a drug trafficking case under the NDPS Act at Kotkhai police station. Since February, Shimla police have conducted 940 property verifications, flagging 58 suspected illegal properties.
