5 killed after boat collides with whale in New Zealand: Report

Five people were reportedly killed after a small charter boat collided with a whale and capsized in New Zealand. The accident took place on Saturday morning near the South Island town of Kaikoura. The town is a popular whale-watching destination, while sperm whales are usually seen in the area. Some humpback whales also pass through.
