Five people died when their car rammed into an SUV near Punjab's Jalandhar on Thursday. The accident took place when the car driver lost control over the vehicle, which jumped the median strip, crossed over to the other side and then rammed into the SUV coming from the opposite direction. The three occupants of the SUV also suffered serious injuries.
