5 major fishing harbours to be developed as hubs for economic activities: FM

In her Budget 2021-22 speech, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that she is proposing "substantial investments" in the development of "modern fishing harbours and fish landing centres". "Five major fishing harbours in Kochi, Chennai, Visakhapatnam, Paradip and Petuaghat will be developed as hubs for economic activities," she added.
