5 men held for suspected terror plot near UK air base are British nationals; released on bail

Five men who ​were arrested on ​suspicion of terrorism and ⁠explosives offences near ​a UK airbase used ​by the US were British nationals, police confirmed. They have been released on bail, but they remain under investigation, police said. The men were arrested near RAF Fairford airbase, which the US has been allowed to use for attacks on Iran.
