5-month-old walrus calf rescued after it was found alone in Alaska
A five-month-old Pacific walrus calf named Annautaq was flown nearly 4,000 miles from Alaska to SeaWorld Orlando after being found alone on a remote beach. US Geological Survey biologists discovered him among carcasses during post-storm survey. Weighing about 220 pounds, Annautaq is receiving specialised care after officials determined he could not safely survive independently in the wild.
