5 of India's 10 most-valued firms lose ₹1.85 lakh crore in a week

The combined market capitalisation of five of India's 10 most-valued companies dipped by ₹1.85 lakh crore in the week ended January 10. HDFC Bank saw the biggest decline with a loss of ₹70,479.23 crore, while ITC, SBI, Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank were the other losers. Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty fell over 2% each in the week.
