5 richest Americans added $67 bn to their wealth in 2017

The five richest people in the US have added nearly $67 billion (₹4.28 lakh crore) combined to their personal fortunes since 2017 beginning. These were technology firms' founders Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Larry Ellison, along with billionaire investor Warren Buffett. Zuckerberg was the biggest gainer in the group, with a $23.4 billion boost to his net worth.
